What this is

DocuGaps is software at docugaps.com. You upload documents, put them on one desk, and ask the product to compare them and find missing clauses or other gaps. These terms are the rules for that service.

The product

You get a web desk for PDFs and document images. You can open files side by side, chat about them, mark pages, and keep work in folders. Guests can use the desk and a few free AI requests without an account. A paid plan lifts the Free limits for the whole team.

This is a digital service. Access starts as soon as you open the desk or subscribe. There is no shipping and no physical product.

Price

Prices are in USD. Standard is $9 USD / person / month. Pro is $29 USD / person / month. The whole team is on one plan, and every person who is turned on, Viewers included, is one seat. When someone is turned on, their seat is paid ahead for the next billing period and the rest of the current period is included. Turning someone off keeps their paid seat until the period ends, so turning them back on before then costs nothing. Standard allows files up to 10 MB and 10 GB of storage shared by the team. Pro allows files up to 50 MB and 50 GB of storage shared by the team. AI use has fair-use limits.

You pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, UnionPay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Checkout is handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Card brands shown at checkout are the ones Stripe accepts for your bank.

Cancel

Admins can cancel any time in Settings under Billing. Cancel stops the next charge, and the team keeps the plan until the end of the period already paid. Seats follow the team list: turn someone off in Settings under Team and their seat stops renewing.

Refunds

We do not refund a month that already started, unless the law says we must. If a charge is wrong, write to hello@docugaps.com and we will look at it. There are no returns because nothing is shipped.

Your files

You keep the rights to what you upload. You must have the right to upload it. Do not upload files that are illegal to have or share. We may read files only to run the product, including sending pages to our AI provider so it can compare them.

Answers can be wrong. DocuGaps is a tool, not a lawyer, not a court, and not legal advice. You decide what to do with the result.

Accounts

You must be 16 or older. Keep your password to yourself. The team's owner is responsible for the team, including people any of its admins add. We may close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service.

Limits

Do not try to break, scrape, or overload the site. Do not use it to harm other people or to break the law. Some countries restrict encryption or AI tools. You are responsible for using DocuGaps only where you are allowed to.

If something goes wrong

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it up, but we do not promise it will always be perfect or always online. To the extent the law allows, DocuGaps is not liable for lost files, bad comparisons, or indirect loss. If we are liable, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.
